For all those who are disappointed in one way or another...

There is no person who live a life with no disappointments. The difference between the person who eventually succeed and the person who failed is the way they perceive things. The one who succeed is able to see the good things out of his disappointments, while the one who failed is only able to see the bad points.

Disappointments and successes always come in pairs. Nobody kept on succeeding, and nobody is forever disappointed by heaven. When we are disappointed, it may really be a blessing in disguise. Who knows what will happen when you follow your plan B or plan C? What you thought was good for you may not be good for you eventually.

Yesterday I was talking to a fellow platoon mate (An ITE student) about being in Guards. He thought that life in army was very boring and a complete waste of time, while I thought that life in army is eventful, at least I can get to know them.

It is perspectives that make a difference... There is always a bright side and a dark side to things. You decide which side to see. There is always two directions in life, forward and backward. You decide which direction to move in.

Look forward, and leave the past behind you. You will never know what awaits you in the furture.

P.S. I was just rejected by Stanford and Cornell.
